Bus pass applications
All new students need to apply online for your child's bus pass. That information is forwarded from the transport department to Picton High will approve it if your address matches our records.
The bus pass is posted to your home in early January by Picton Buslines.
Tuesday Early Buses
Tuesday is sports day at Picton High
- Timetable Week B is Years 7 & 8.
- Timetable Week A is Years 9 & 10.
School finishes at 1.10 pm every Tuesday for all students. Early buses have been arranged where drop off is as follows.
- Bus 1 TAHMOOR - River Road - KFC
- Bus 2 TAHMOOR - KFC - Milne St
- Bus 3 PICTON Botanic Gardens
- Bus 4 PICTON - MALDON - WILTON
- Bus 5 BARGO Station - Great Southern Road
- Bus 6 BARGO - YANDERRA
- Bus 7 THIRLMERE - COURIDJAH - BUXTON - HILLTOP
- Bus 8 THIRLMERE - LAKESLAND
Regular 3.10 pm buses still operate on Tuesdays and supervision of students at school continues to occur after 1.10 pm.

Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
- do not drive through or stop in the school bus bay during pickup and drop off times. This is a sign posted no stopping zone.
- When walking across Argyle Street cross at the pedestrian crossings at either end of the bus bay.
Parking on school grounds
Visitors can park in the vistor parking which can be accessed from the north end of the bus bay.
