Year 7 & 8 Physical Education Lessons
IMPORTANT: As PHS prepares for the construction of the new innovation campus, the PDHPE faculty has had a reduction in practical teaching facilities on site.
To accommodate the practical component of this course, classes will be out of school during various times throughout the week and students will either walk or be transported to the various destinations by bus. All classes will leave from the front of the school (bus bay) at the beginning of their period. The venues the students will be attending are the Wollondilly Leisure Centre, Picton Oval, Hume Oval and the Picton Botanical Gardens.
The students will be participating in activities that will form a substantial part of their assessment, and all students are require to participate. Students who are unable to attend offsite practical lessons must bring a note signed by a parent or guardian outlining the reason why and will be required to complete alternative work to meet all outcomes of the course. All students are required to wear FULL SPORTS UNIFORM during their practical lessons.
